Paul Z was born and raised in a lower working class family on the Eastside of Detroit. At 19, he was savagely beaten while handcuffed in a violent case of police brutality. The incident set Paul on a global educational journey that took him to Michigan State University, Pepperdine Law School, and the University of the United Kingdom.
Following law school, Paul dedicated his life as a criminal defense attorney to help those less fortunate and built a reputation as the “Courtroom Fixer”. However, his great success was plagued with personal demons and soon he found himself the target of a FBI corruption scandal which landed him in federal prison. After serving his time, Paul began rebuilding his life, starting with telling his story, written with brutal honesty and comedic satire.
